Cage Nut

Cage Nuts provide high strength threaded fastening which is attached to the panel by “snapping” into a pre-punched square hole. Fixing is rapid, using only pliers. The fastening if required, may be removed, making relocation easy. For example: adjustable shelving fixing.

  METHOD OF ASSEMBLY – CAGE NUT
Pierce hole in PanelGrip ears of cage nut together with pliers or similar tool and insert through panel. Release ears to enable expansion into locating hole size. After releasing ears cage nut is held firmly in locating hole by spring tension. Then simply screw bolt through panel into retaining nut.
